Best Things Of The Cyber-World Are Free

There was someone out there who once said, "Some of the best things in the world are free." And how correct he was. We all know that oxygen, water and all similar comes for free. I am not talking of those things here. Even in this highly competitive world, where everyone has supposedly turned selfish and self-centred to survive, there are a few good guys out there who work to provide us their offerings for free earning in some other way but not from the general public. Well, here's the list:-
•Have you always dreamt of studying in MIT or Stanford University but never got a chance? Or have you studied engineering due to the peer pressure from your dad while you always wanted to study law? Then here's a solution. Head out to coursera.org or edx.org. These are some of the websites which provides online courses from the top universities of the world on a huge variety of subjects and all for free. Not only that, you also get a certificate of accomplishment if you complete your undertaken course within the stipulated time and appear for the final exam. Sounds great? Check it out.

•We all use either Windows or Mac as our primary OS. I don't know the problems of Mac for i have never used it but with Windows comes a variety set of problems like virus problems, hang issues, consuming too much of physical memory and so on. Most of us look over this problems and continue with it as our primary OS. But have you ever considered trying something new? If you are tired of using that same OS for years with those slight changes, then its high time you change it & look out for Ubuntu, the most popular Linux based distro. And yep, it's also free 100%. No charges unlike Windows, the latest version of which costs around 10k in INR. But don't you dare judge Ubuntu with its 0 price tag. Its has got looks almost comparable to Windows 8 & much better than Windows XP. Then again, it has got no virus problems and doesn't consume much memory either. So if you have got an old machine like me which doesn't have enough power under its hood to run Windows efficiently, install Ubuntu in it and get yourself amazed at its working speeds. Moreover, Ubuntu comes with its own Software Store(which Microsoft came up with only a year back) and also a forum with numerous active geeks who is always ready to help if you are stuck somewhere while using Ubuntu or facing some problem. And if you are worried about how to play all those Windows games or run all your essential software, then let me tell you, there is a software called Wine which once installed is capable of running any Windows apps in Ubuntu.
•Email is free, Skype is free, Facebook is free, Twitter is free, Blogger is free, WordPress is free. The best and most efficient form of communication in today's world, i.e., email, is free. You are never charged for whatever  or how much you sent in through emails. Want to talk to your loved ones who are abroad but you're unwilling to spend a huge sum on telephone bills? Head on to Skype to have a free video or audio chat. The best platforms of virtual socializing like Facebook & Twitter comes for free. Share as many thoughts as you want, you will never be charged. Even Blogger or Wordpress which lets us to share our thoughts and ideas in our own way through our very own page, otherwise known as blogs, is also free. However there is a small catch here: to avail all these free services you need to have a internet connection which unfortunately isn't free.
As for now, i couldn't think of anything else that comes for free. However if any such thing crosses my mind, i promise hit the edit button and add it up here. You can add up to at the comment section below.
